Established in April of 2021, Made in San Diego Clothing Company was created right here in America’s Finest City San Diego, CA. Like most clothing brand owners, we saw a lack of creativity in the typical overpriced team store merchandise and thought that we could create something better to represent the city. Inspired by the idea of having other people wear and support the brand was enough to get the ball rolling on creating designs. We wanted to create a brand that people could wear to sporting events at Petco Park, Snapdragon Stadium, Pechanga Arena, Viejas Arena or just at your local bar around town. The name Made in San Diego is a play on the popular phrase “Made in China” which most things in the US have labeled. We want to be that for the city of San Diego! Made in San Diego is not exclusively for those who were born and raised here but also for anybody who takes pride in representing in and out of the city lines. When San Diego Padres own Manny Machado and Joe Musgrove wore our “San Diego is The Shit” T-Shirt which was one of our very first designs, there was no turning back. We like to think of Made in San Diego Clothing Company as a plant with the City of San Diego being the soil, The brand is the seed and the water is all of the supporters who continue to help us grow! As long as we have water to continue to grow, we will continue to do just that.
